The above quote from ice hockey legend Wayne Gretzky (because I had totes heard of him prior to my google search for quotes about taking chances...) in essence sums up why I have taken the first tentative steps into the world of blogging.

I have been an avid blog reader for a few years now, well since I begin my dissertation and was looking for slightly more hardcore ways to procrastinate i.e. when Bebo wasn't enough - don't judge my social network of choice, it was 2008...I digress, anyway as a bit of a social media enthusiast I am no longer satisfied with reading about the fabulous lives of other equally fabulous 20-somethings, I'd quite like to get in on the action too.  So here's to this little teeny corner of the internet, and to taking shots...jager bomb if you're offering.
